Standard dyed film
The room gets darker, but the heat still gets in
Low infrared rejection, so you need the lights on during the day, the air conditioning still works hard, and the film fades quickly.
Window film for buildings · homes · condos · offices
Energy Shield supplies and installs US-standard nano ceramic film that keeps heat out of homes and buildings and cuts electricity bills by 15–20%, without needing a dark tint.

Super Nano Ceramic IR-20100
Choose the right film from the start
Most of the heat that comes through glass is infrared radiation, which is invisible to the eye. Dark film only cuts visible light. The figures to check before you decide are IR Rejection and TSER.
Standard dyed film
Low infrared rejection, so you need the lights on during the day, the air conditioning still works hard, and the film fades quickly.
Energy Shield Nano Ceramic
Nano-scale ceramic particles block IR at every shade level. Model IR-70100 lets through 70% of visible light and still rejects 99% of IR. No metal, so mobile and WiFi signals work normally.
Your air conditioning works less in strong sun, cutting electricity bills by 15–20% and reducing AC maintenance costs.
Blocks 99% of UV, reducing the risk to skin and keeping wood floors, curtains and leather from fading or cracking.
Extra-strong clear adhesive: no bubbles, peeling or discolouration, and it holds glass fragments together if the glass breaks.

Specialty films
Beyond heat rejection film, Energy Shield also installs films for privacy, security and interior decoration.

The film contains liquid crystals. With power on, the crystals align and let light through, so the glass is clear. With power off, the crystals scatter light and the glass turns frosted instantly. Make a room open or private whenever you want, without curtains or blinds.
